| Space Shuttle Surfers Paradise, Camera location is Cyprus Avenue, Looking north is the QT Resort and Spa and Crown Towers hadn't been developed yet. The Shuttle business fizz out and the shuttle was trucked out after a couple of years. This location has been a bit of curse for investors, Japanese investors in the mid-'80s had bought all the land up around this part of Surfers and then the Japanese economy crash and Japan fell into a serious recession. The blocks of land defaulted to the bank of japan, All blocks of land are still empty to this day and are a terrible eye saw on Surfers Paradise. |
