Police are seeking public assistance to identify the owner of a silver Commodore which performed a “burnout” in from of Burpergary police station this week before nearly colliding with another car.
At around 9.55pm on October 30 the VT model Holden Commodore reversed into the driveway of the station on Joyce Street before accelerating and losing control through a red light on Station Road.
The Commodore then narrowly avoided hitting a four-wheel-drive that was proceeding through the green light.
Police have released CCTV of the incident and are appealing for anyone who may know either of the vehicles involved to come forward.
